Centralised strategic location in Penang . Just opposite prangin mall and Konrad Penang . A stone throw away from the famous Kimberly street where you can taste the Michelin food and famous cendol, the hotel staff at the reception are lovely . The 2 bedroom unit I stay at is clean and lots of space for a family of 4 . Daily cleaning is done properly to ensure the comfort of the guests. Only issue is the room that I stayed at (room 136) the master bed room TV is not working . Also to take note that the bar below the hotel is no longer in operation so there is no noise issue at night but during the day time some traffic noise from the outside can be heard .

The hotel room is more than a room. It should be classified as an apartment. Having two rooms in one unit with a kitchenette makes the place a suitable spot for families or people who value privacy. The hotel is also located at a strategic location that makes navigating Georgetown easy and seamless - all within minutes of walking.

Location is A big big plus for ROPEWALK piazza. It’s right in the heart of Georgetown and walking distance to food n shopping. I think it’s Ropewalk’s piazza only 3 BR apartmen but it’s nice n quiet. Although it’s a walk up 3 BR apartment, it fitted in with our 4 persons requirement for a place where we can have a sitting room to relax n a little kitchenette. The biggest plus is the staff. Like to mention Siva ( or selva) and Irfan. They were both attentive n helpful. As we stretched our stay by arriving early n taking the last flight out .. ROPEWALK Piazza was ready for us to check in. On the day of check out, we could store our luggages with reception till we got pick up. Overall a fantastic 3N stay.

The Hotel guest service officer Shafiq was a gem. He promptly provided power plug adaptors as I did not bring the 2 pin adapter for the phone chargers. On 15 Sep, there was heavy rain & water was dripping in one room, he managed to get a replacement room once the other guest checks out on the same day. Exemplary service from Shafiq, Pricing is also great esp when its a 2 room hotel which is rare for hotels in the area.

1. Location - Walking distance to popular food outlets, heritage streets, mall. 2. Apartment is big and comfortable. 3. Quiet at night. No noisy bars/clubs nearby. 4. Staff are friendly and provide good service. 5. Entrance to apartment is at street level. Easy to access by keying in code. No inconvenience of having to share access cards amongst family members.

Very centrally located and had everything we needed for a cool, comfortable stay. I liked having a kitchenette for a quick coffee and tea, plus crockery and cutlery for a takeaway meal. Fantastic staff - really helpful all the time and very responsive.

The property is centrally located - all the eateries with great recommended local foods, cafes and Komtar mall are within walking distance. The space of the property is more than enough for our family of 4, bathrooms are clean, mattresses are comfortable.

We had a great stay at the Ropewalk Piazza (July 2025). The property was walking distance from most of the attractions in Georgetown, and we were able to do a lot of walking around the city. Also, the bus halt to catch the free GT bus was literally a minute away. The rooms and toiled were very clean, and the linens were changed daily. They also provided all utensils so we could have meals in the living area if needed. The staff was friendly, and property is great value for money - will definitely book again if ever in Penang.

The suite was really good. It was a comfortable stay. The washroom was neat. All the necessary toiletries were there. The best thing was the receptionist named Seyviar. He is such a sweet and nice human being. Helped us a lot to navigate some places. He also suggested some places to visit. His behaviour was amazing. He ensured we had a comfortable stay over there. I would highly recommend staying there.
